Obedience and Faith

Our Spiritual Fathers where real people just like you and me. They also made mistakes and had flaws. For instance, Abraham acted cowardly when he visited the land of Egypt. He was afraid that they might take his wife and kill him! After has been promised a son by the living Elohim! Or what about Moses? He killed an Egyptian – he was a murderer!
Yes, they were imperfect, but Y'HWH, through his Word and teaching, made them perfect.

We are just like them!! We are human, with sin and weaknesses! If you can grasp that we are the same people as our forefathers, then maybe the good things that came upon our fathers will also come upon us?

The blessings that were given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were also meant for their descendants!!!!

We have to believe these blessings and promises!! Now this is very important:
The Torah teaches us - “When you believe the promises of YHWH, it is called faith!”

Now this is a very simple equation:

Believe Y'HWH = FAITH = this is counted for RIGHTEOUSNESS = righteousness has kissed JUSTICE = justice demands SACRIFICE = and from sacrifice comes SALVATION.

Now, not once have I mentioned law or obedience!!

But Torah teaches :
Obedience = Blessing

Disobedience = Curse

So in the end faith and obedience work together, they go hand in hand!
James states that faith apart from works are dead!

Back in the day of Yehshua, the problem with the Pharisees and Sadducee's was that they changed this equations to read:

Obedience = righteousness

THIS IS NOT TRUE! –this teaches righteousness by keeping the law! – that only gives you self-righteousness!!!!

But again today the modern church changed it the other way around to:

Faith = Blessings

THIS IS NOT TRUE! – Faith without works is dead.

THE TRUTH: FAITH = SALVATION (see equation above)

OBEDIENCE = BLESSING

That is why when we are disobedient, we fall into sickness and curse. The Word says, if you believe in Me, you will be saved. But if you want blessings, you have to obey – or give ear to my teachings!

The vice versa is true – if you do not believe in Me, you will not be saved. If you choose to disobey My word, then you will be cursed.

LAW VS TEACHING?

One Father has two sons. He calls them to discipline and teach them. The first son, the obedient, hears his father's words as teaching and wisdom. The second son, the rebel and disobedient, hears only a law and command coming from his father.

The first son sees discipline, the second sees Judgment. Which are you?

YOUR ATTITUDE WILL DETERMINE HOW YOU SEE TORAH.
