Proverbs 15:1-4; "A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up displeasure. The tongue of the wise makes knowledge good, But the mouth of fools pours out foolishness. The eyes of YHWH are in every place, Watching the evil and the good. A healing tongue is a tree of life. But perverseness in it crushes the spirit."
Words have so much power!!! We need to think twice about everything we say...
We can hurt those we love with just a single harsh word! Or we can build them up, lighten up a day with one soft word!
Sometimes it is not what we say, but how we say it...the tone and decibel in a voice can make a worlds difference!
I just want to encourage people to learn to listen to others, learn to think before you speak! When someone speaks to you, look at them - especially people in relationships such as marriage!
Life and death is in the tongue!!
