Why did Moses not make the promised land?

What I am about to reveal to you will give you so much insight into your own faith!! Have you ever wondered why Moses did not make the promised land?...Let me take you on a journey...(An adaption of 'Basics of our faith - Introduction by Monte Judah')

Who is the last generation? Did you know that the Jews are not all of Yisrael? - But only one of the twelve tribes of Yisrael. Do you know where the other 11 tribes are?

Ezek 6:9, Joel 3:2, Zech 7:14 - Yisrael is scattered among the nations!
We are part of the last generation and it is amazing to see what YHWH is doing throughout the world to His people!
Did you know there are more Jews whom have come to believe in Yehshua as the Messiah in the last 19 years than there was in the last 1900 years?
YHWH is bringing to a close the great exile of Yisrael among the nations - that includes all believers! Why?

One thing you need to understand is: THE TORAH HAS MORE TO DO WITH YOUR FUTURE THAN WITH YOUR PAST!
Moses speaks to ‘a generation to come’ in Deut 30 and He sings a song in Deut 32 - that will be sung by the last generation according to Rev 15:3.

There still lies a Greater Exodus for the children of Yisrael, for the Remnant - when Yisrael will be gathered from the nations.

The exodus of Yisrael out of Egypt was a pattern for the last generation, to prepare us. Again there will raise a 'Pharaoh' who will not remember the Son of Yoseph...but YHWH will lead us to the Promised Land with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm!

Yeh'shua of Nazareth is the Messiah - He did come to do the work of Redemption, but it is not complete yet....there will be a full restoration of His people and His Kingdom!

The TORAH is NOT a substitute for what you were taught - to pursue the Messiah! No, the Torah is the Messiah that is why we have to pursue Torah first.

John 5;46-47; "For if you believed Moshe, you would have believed Me, since he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words?"

Do you remember the future all believers hope for? It’s called the New Jerusalem? Where there are 12 gates named after the 12 tribes of Yisrael? Now at which gate are you planning to enter? Remember we are all Yisrael now! The covenant was and still is with Yisrael, BUT GENTILES CAN BE ADDED TO THIS COVENANT - BUT THEN THEY BECOME YISRAEL _ ROMANS 11. But there will be no separate gate for gentile believers – we are ALL now Israel.

Now let’s get back to the topic, why did Moses not make the Promised Land? Read Num 20.
In Ex 17 Moses struck the rock for the first time – and water came forth. Again the children of Yisrael were thirsty...in Num20: "...and you shall speak to the rock"...v 11; "...and He struck the rock twice... "
Verse 12; "because you did not BELIEVE Me..."

Do you know what this means? Do you know the meaning of believe - 'cause it can teach us so much regarding our faith?
The word believe consists of three Hebrew letters: aleph, mem and nun. If you look at the meaning of each of the individual letters; alef - strenght, mem -waters, nun -life :
THE
STRENGTH OF THE LIVING WATERS!

If you want the living waters - Speak to the Rock. The Rock shall not be stricken twice. The Rock is the Messiah!
Moses failed to teach the MOST IMPORTANT teaching to the children of Yisrael! You cannot be saved by Torah! Moses knew the Torah!! He wrote it! Believe me, if there was a person who could be saved by it, and who knew how to keep it, it was Moses... But he also needed a Savior! You FIRST need faith...then follows obedience! There remains a place for the Torah and obedience, but First you need salvation...not visa versa.

Later on in the book of John, chapter 7 we read about the Feast of Tabernacles. On the last day of this great Feast the priests had a ritual they performed. They would send a person down to fetch water from the pool of Silom (which means the sent one).

It was down at the bottom, or area which was referred to as Gehenna (Hell). He had to bring back the living water to the Temple where it was poured over the altar. They called this water ‘Yeshua’. It means ‘Salvation’ in Hebrew and also forms part of the Messiah’s true Hebrew name, Yehushua – which means YHWH is our Salvation.
In verse 37 and 40: “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yehushua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirsts, let him come unto me, and drink...Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.” He was fulfilling this ritual before their eyes!!he is HE.
Messiah is the living Water!!!
